Swan Creek Candles

We have a new line of candles in.... Swan Creek Candles. Lead free, clean burning and intense delicious scents make this our new favorite! We are the only shop carrying this line in Anchorage.. oooooohh. Makes me want to smell them all.

There are clean and green and made with American soybean. That felt good to say!

I love clean burning soy wax. These are the real deal. One of the many neat things about soy wax, is that it melts quickly and the scent starts filling the room much quicker. They still have a wonderfully long burn time, but the soy wax goes to liquid quickly. Lovely!

Don't you just love chalkboards?

These are some old window frames that a very clever girl transformed into chalkboards! How fun! If only I was 10 years old again.......I'd have an imaginary classroom to lecture or a board room to inspire. The chalk dust would be piling up below as I acted out every scenario, with my best friend Christy of course!

Today, I'd have it hanging in my kitchen and I'd have a running grocery list going, notes to the kids, doodling........

Look at the neat French signs! I don't know what they say, but it's worth learning a second language!

Look at this beautiful vintage papered shelf....... We just love these unique pieces. What a wonderful piece to add character to your room. I'm all for new pieces at box stores to save money, but add a few antiques into the mix or unique furnishings to add that special punch! The older pieces are what give character to you room.

Look at all the fun Easter things we've gotten in....whoooooo, so sparkly and springy....is that a word? Springy? Take a look-see....

These are sooo neat! I just love the look, the packaging is so vintage looking. They are wooden spools wrapped with colorful tinsel garland. These are for the do-it-yourselfer, spice up your cards or different crafting projects. But, I could just see a bowl of these in your craft room on the table....next to your vintage tin full of paintbrushes... on top of your beautiful journal you've been keeping.... ahhhh.... sounds wonderful doesn't it? Someday that will be me :) And it can be you too! First we need to think of a project to use these in! Or do you opperate like me? First I buy the thing, then I think of a project! It must start with something that inspires me!

We have a bunch of beautiful silk flowers in! They look so real, it's a welcome sight on the eyes this time of year. Cosmos, hydrangeas, lilacs, mums, daisies...... so pretty to group together in a vase or urn.
